With the slogan "Cyprus is now closer to everywhere," Fly Kıbrıs Airlines aims to be a milestone in the history of Turkish Cypriot aviation.

The airline welcomed its first passengers at Istanbul Airport, who boarded the Airbus A320 aircraft named "Melekler Takımı" (Angels Team) after the famous "Champion Angels" sports team.

The first Fly Kıbrıs plane to land at Ercan International Airport was greeted with a water salute. The inaugural flight of Fly Kıbrıs Airlines was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, former Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktaş, as well as journalists and tourism representatives from Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
